Hi, I am a designer living in Venice, CA.

I grew up drawing everything from spaceships to telephones to cars. In high school, I drew on litho stones, printed and etched. I became infatuated with cycling and earned money as a bike messenger in Washington DC cruising up Capitol Hill and all over DC. I loved to get new technology for my bike and realized that I could combine drawing and technology into industrial design. At art school I studied industrial design and learned to model projects in wood and foam as well as on the computer in 3d. I learned steel welding and machining while interning at a furniture company in germany where I did a workshop at the Vitra design museum with Ron Arad, and along with a fellow student, created a metal replica of one of his chairs that Ron used in one of his exhibitions.

I lived in Germany for 10 years and while working for an industrial design firm, I realized my passion for presentation graphics. I left the firm to create a cd of Ron Arad’s Portfolio that I showed in Milan during the furniture fair. Ingo Maurer, who showed in the same space as Ron, also wanted a digital portfolio, so I began working for the Munich lighting designer creating media combining industrial design and graphic design. I then worked with some agencies doing automotive work for BMW and Smart as well as movie promotion.

I joined Sapient in Munich and then moved with Sapient to Los Angeles to work on the Nissan site in Los Angeles. LA has been a great experience with the most amazing food, art, sunny weather and creative work around.
